The TV set in the guest room can be automatically switched on or display the welcome message upon the first use by the guest. General or private messages work the same way. Guests can place Wake Up calls via input from the reception staff or by entering the desired alarm time directly on the TV screen. At alarm time the TV set switches on automatically from standby.
Guest acknowledgment is required and if not received within a preset time – can notify the front desk to take further action. The Folio Review feature enables guests to check their hotel bill on the TV screen and – in conjunction with the Express Check Out option to check out directly via the TV set to avoid waiting lines at the front desk in the morning. The integrated editor software allows hotels to easily enter or update text, pictures, and animations in the system to keep their guests always up to date. Hotels offering restaurant services in their guest rooms display their culinary offerings on the TV screen including direct ordering button with the Room Service option. The order ticket can be printed out in the kitchen or transmitted online via the PMS interface to the restaurant software. The internet is a significant part in our life.
